You have a plan P1 and I as a Member have subscribed to it. After some thoughts, you decided to pause this plan. Now If i have to send out a request to you to change my plan, how will I do that unless that plan is shown to me on my Profile Page. This is one of the reason we have kept it.
Allowing someone to change to the "Paused/Cancelled" plan is your call as the request comes to you. Not showing such plans will have a cascading effect on the page when the plans are loaded for the Member if (s)he has subscribed to it.
