About

Rotary Bangalore Indiranagar was founded in 1981 with 23 members, as of today it's a lively club, of 128 members. The club's current President is Rtn.Peeyush Jain, the club draws its membership from Bangalore's top professional and business community, the club has today grown with a resolute zeal to reach out to the community. 

The club provides an excellent opportunity for service through fellowship. The members of the club work as a cohesive unit with an administration team that is professional.

Rotary's motto is "Service above Self" hence, the club offers services which form the foundation of club activity.

• Vocational services- Vocational Service involves club members serving others through their professions and aspiring to high ethical standards. Rotarians, as business leaders, share skills and expertise through their vocations, and they inspire others in the process.
• Community services- Community Service is the opportunity Rotary clubs have to implement club projects and activities that improve life in the local community.
• International services- International Service encompasses efforts to expand Rotary’s humanitarian reach around the world and to promote world understanding and peace. It includes everything from contributing to PolioPlus to helping Rotary Youth Exchange students adjust to their host countries.
• New generations services- New Generations Service recognizes the positive change implemented by youth and young adults through leadership development activities such as RYLA, Rotaract and Interact club service projects, and creating international understanding with Rotary Youth Exchange.
